MELISSA CURTIS-HENDLEY, Ed.D., M.T.D.
With over sixteen years of experience working within continuous improvement roles, Melissa Curtis-Hendley, Ed.D., M.T.D., has worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies supporting their training and development goals as well as continuous improvement initiatives. She has diverse experience developing and facilitating training programs with a variety of industries ranging from automotive to distribution, financial institutions, accounting firms, higher education, government, healthcare, light watercraft and yacht manufacturing, poultry processors and defense contractors.
Dr. Curtis-Hendley is also a Special Lecturer at her alma mater, Oakland University, in Rochester, Michigan, where she has specialized for fifteen years teaching instructional design and adult learning theory in both the Human Resource Development undergraduate program as well as the Master of Training and Development program.
Melissa received her undergraduate degree in Political Science in 2001 from Oakland University, as well as her Master's of Training and Development in 2005. She earned her Doctor of Education- Ed.D., in Organizational Leadership from Oakland in December of 2020.
